The mystery of Kitsap’s trash
There is no mystery

It is no mystery where Kitsap’s trash comes from (Feb. 11). Trash comes from us.  Mankind. Humans. That person in the mirror. If there are other living things on this earth producing litter, I’d like to know. We are over-consuming slobs. After we have polluted the earth until it is uninhabitable, we will only have ourselves to blame.

Kitsap Mall vs. Kitsap Transit
Poor people’s money not good enough?

Readers need to speak with department store management about the refusal of the Kitsap Mall to continue talking with Kitsap Transit to provide space for Kitsap Transit passengers to embark and disembark from their buses or shuttle buses.
Sounds like the Kitsap Mall management doesn’t want poor people there. We pay taxes that helped pay for the roads — including the new interchange — and water and sewer lines that serve the mall. Maintenance too. Our taxes help pay for deputies and emergency workers who respond to calls. They protect all of us.
To me, it sounds like the proposed new drop off point for passengers is inconvenient. Bus passengers want equal access to the Kitsap Mall.
We gifted the Kitsap Mall. Environmentally, bus riders are green.
