Undefeated, Bremerton girls bowling team readies for the postseason

On Tuesday, Bremerton defeated North Mason High School 7-0 in the final match of the regular season, which began in November. Bremerton had a total pin fall score of 1,750 to North Mason’s 1,081. This made the team’s regular season outcome 12-0. They head to the Olympic League Tournament next Thursday and because they are the top performer in the league, will automatically advance to the district tournament Jan. 28. The team also has eyes on the two-day state tournament scheduled for February.

Bremerton youth football organization to hold tryouts

The Bremerton Tritons’ football organization will introduce youth arena football to children and teens residing within the Bremerton School District. The Tritons will participate in the 2012 Arena Youth Football League and tryouts for the team are scheduled from 8 to 10 a.m. Jan. 22 at the Olympic Soccer and Sports Center.
