KW girls, boys soccer on different ends of blowouts

King’s West also fell this week, losing 7-3 Tuesday against 1A Chimacum. Kate Anderson led King’s West with two goals, while Megan Smith also added one for the Warriors. Both Samantha Benner and Chelsea Lindsay notched hat tricks for Chimacum.

The Warriors hosted Mt. Vernon Christian last night, but results were unavailable at press time. KW will travel north to Port Townsend Monday.

Boys soccer

It was the opposite for King’s West’s boys soccer team, which blasted La Conner 7-1 on the road last Sunday.

Andy Lee logged two goals for the Warriors, while Josh Kerifels and Drew McCullough scored and assisted once each. Josh Damon added a pair of assists for the Warriors.

King’s West battled Puget Sound Adventist Thursday, but results were unavailable at press time.
