King’s West overcame a one-goal deficit to beat Evergreen Lutheran 2-1 Oct. 17. Junior Eric Jeong answered Wyatt Weimer’s 12th-minute goal with his own in the 37th minute to make it 2-1, while senior Andy Lee put KW ahead early with a goal in the 8th minute. The Warriors maintained fourth place in the 2B SeaTac League with the win at 5-4-0 in the league and 8-4-0 overall. The top three league finishers advance to the playoffs. The team hosted Puget Sound Adventist (7-4-0, 8-4-0) on Thursday, but results from that game were unavailable at press time. KW finishes regular season action with two games next week at The Bear Creek School on Tuesday and home against Rainier Christian on Thursday. The Bear Creek School, Puget Sound Adventist and Mount Tahoma would make the playoffs if they started today.
