Sports notice All-Star basketball game

Both Bremerton and King’s West will be represented at the seventh annual West Sound Senior High School All-Star Basketball Event March 25.
Hosted by Sports Beyond, the event includes a 3-point shooting contest and a “hot shot” shooting contest for both boys and girls.
The girls all-star game begins at 5:30 p.m. and the boys tip off at 7 p.m.
On the girls side, seniors Sarah Streutker and Kelsey Johnson will represent Bremerton, while seniors Michelle Mosey and Irene Moore will represent King’s West.
Bremerton’s Josh Koets and Terrance McGhee and King’s West’s Drew McCullough and Sam Weldin will suit up for the boys game.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children and students younger than 17. Door prizes include gift certificates to Los Cabos and Noah’s Ark, among others.
The money raised from the All-Star Event will be used to finance select basketball teams to play in local and national tournaments.
